Why should i donate ?

At the heart of any Muslim community, a mosque can be found. Mosques are the beating heart of our community and stand as a physical example of our faith. A mosque provides us with so much more than a simple house of worship though, it is a precious sanctuary that provides a place for individual enlightenment, education and moral guidance; where we teach our children about the Qur’an, where we come to honour and worship Allah (SWT) and where we can come together for special occasions in the community, such as holidays, weddings and funerals. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) even helped in the construction of the first mosque in Medina, as it was part of his will to define a place of worship for Muslims everywhere.

Endless Rewards That Keep Multiplying

This is not just Sadaqah this is Sadaqah Jariyah – a charity that keeps giving, even after you’ve returned to Allah. Every single prayer, every word of the Quran, every gathering, every dua – the reward will flow to you like a never-ending river of blessings.

Get yourself a house in Paradise.

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:“Whoever builds a Masjid for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”

The doors of Jannah are waiting

Every moment you wait is a moment of reward slipping through your fingers. Imagine the endless blessings you could be earning right now.

Plant the Seed of Kindness Today for an Eternal Harvest

Every donation is like a seed planted in the garden of your heart, growing into a mountain of blessings on the Day of Judgment. Let’s overcome hesitation together and take the first step toward eternal rewards. Life won’t wait — the time to act is now.

Why CLZ needs a new mosque?

A new mosque will provide a larger, modern space for prayers, educational activities, community events, and cultural gatherings.

Friday Prayers

The mosque in Clausthal is overcrowded during Friday prayers. Worshippers often wait on the stairs and outside the building. Due to limited space, some leave after the prayer hall reaches capacity, even during the call to prayer. This issue persists despite holding two Friday prayer sessions each week.

Eid Prayers

The mosque is too small to accommodate Clausthal’s worshippers during Eid, let alone visitors from nearby cities. Efforts to reserve sports fields are hindered by bad weather or university bookings. When no suitable space is available, prayers are held in up to seven shifts. The last Eid attracted around 800 worshippers.

School Activities

The children’s school uses the daily prayer hall, leading to noise and distractions. Limited space prevents accommodating more age groups or creating additional classrooms. The current setup, where multiple classes run simultaneously, creates an environment that is challenging for both teachers and students, hampering the learning experience.
